There is a superb coastal golf course very close and a number of other golf courses throughout the area.This unspoilt area is well worthy of exploration with several attractive coastal villages such as Drummore and Port Logan (adjacent to the superb Botanical Gardens) There are also wonderful gardens at nearby Glenwhan and Castle Kennedy well worth a visit.Sporting facilities abound and for the walker the Southern Upland Way is very close.For mountain bikers the nearest trail head on the 7Stanes Mountain bike Network is in Newton Stewart (15 miles approx).
