Kippford is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the area with so much to see and do. The Jubilee Path runs past the house and over the hill to Rockcliffe or you can stroll down to the estuary to watch the boats in this renowned yachting village. There are two pubs serving food both within walking distance. A small golf course is situated on the edge of the village with several others within easy access including the championship links course at Southerness. There are sandy beaches at nearby Rockcliffe and Sandyhills and the Trailhead for the local section of the 7Stanes Mountain Bike network is within a ten minute drive. The house is suitable for those with mobility problems with all the accommodation, excluding the attic conversion, on the level and externally on the level with only a raised threshold at the front door.
