Situated in a superb elevated position close to the village of Rockcliffe with uninterrupted views. A sweeping oak staircase leads to tastefully furnished and decorated main rooms, all of which have stunning views over a dramatic coastline. The gardens, comprising lawn, rockeries and shrub borders, provide a private location to unwind and relax or for outdoor dining.

The area has much to offer the discerning holidaymaker. Golf ranging from 9 holes to a full championship course. Fishing in river, loch and sea - all nearby. Walking on hills, forests or coastal paths. Cycling on quiet roads or forest rides and, for the more adventurous, the nearby stage of the 7Stanes mountain bike network is within a ten minute drive of the house.
Kippford, the next village along the coast to which there is a delightful footpath, part over National Trust for Scotland land, is a small but busy sailing centre with two pubs both serving food. Beaches, bird sancturies, castles, abbeys and gardens are all nearby and worth visiting.
