A Guide To Nairn
25 Oct 2018Nairn lies to the east of Inverness on the coast overlooking the Moray Firth and the North Sea. At almost ten thousand population, it is one of the larger towns covered here, but no less beautiful for that. It boasts two world-class golf courses, good shopping and some superb beaches. The climate is drier than average for Scotland with cooler summers and warmer winters. A few miles to the south is Cawdor Castle, still the home of Lord Cawdor, but also open to the public. Nearby Bowhunter Archery offers an experience somewhat akin to paintballing, but with bows and arrows!
