Loch Lomond, Trossachs, Fife and Perthshire
The West Highlands give easy access to the Little Isles and Inner Hebrides. There is a dramatic contrast in landscape between Perthshire, Fife and Angus in the East. There is therefore a decision to be made with regard to holiday destination either for The dramatic landscape of the Western Highlands includes the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Kintyre or Cowal Peninsulas, all with fabulous areas for walking and exploring.
Alternatively the choice may be for the more gentle landscape of Perthshire and Fife, with superb beaches round St Andrew’s and along the Firth of Forth.
