We’re delighted that all of our properties are open as usual for 2022 holidays and going forward. The impact of COVID in 2022 and 2021 made them difficult and upsetting years for all, the patience and understanding you gave us was very much appreciated.
While it is not expected that restrictions will be reintroduced, do please be reassured that if UK government Covid-19 restrictions are put in place to legally prevent the owner from accepting you at their property you then you will be offered your choice of a change of dates, a full refund or a credit to allow you to rebook.
Please note that our normal booking terms and conditions will apply to all bookings made after 1st December 2021. As part of this if you wish to cancel your booking due to you or a party member having tested positive for COVID then the offer of a change of dates or a full refund or a credit to allow you to rebook will not be applicable as travel insurance is available to cover such a situation.
We recommend that all guests obtain their own travel insurance and advice on this can be found on sites such as GoCompare . Go compare have issued a guide to looking for the right UK Staycation Travel Insurance for you and what to look out for when purchasing your cover. You don’t need medical cover, as you would when travelling abroad, as you’re covered by the NHS of course. So as it’s the medical cover and the cost of possible repatriation that makes foreign travel insurance expensive, you’ll find UK holiday insurance quite inexpensive, as it typically just needs to cover transport delays and curtailment, holiday cancellation and lost, stolen or damaged luggage. We can’t recommend any individual insurance companies but GoCompare and Compare the Market have some very useful guidance to help you easily organise the best, most appropriate cover for your needs.

What should I do if one of my party feels unwell during my holiday?
If you have symptoms of COVID19 – New Cough or Fever or loss of smell/taste then you should not travel to take your holiday.
If already arrived on holiday then, in accordance with UK Hospitality guidelines if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or are asymptomatic but need to self-isolate, you should check out and return home to self-isolate according to current government guidance.
