Even with the continuing COVID restrictions

We know that your experience shouldn’t be spoiled by worrying about whether your holiday can go ahead, so we guarantee that if COVID Restriction Legislation stops you taking your holiday then we will contact you to discuss a change of date or provide you with a voucher to re-book a holiday anytime until to 5th January 2023 or send you a refund. Please note that current Scottish restrictions mean that no holidays are possible before 26th April.
Scottish Protection Levels – update 13th April 2021
Current Scottish Protection Levels mean that you may holiday as a single household from 26th April and from 17th May this changes to 2 households/max 4 people over 12yrs old.
It is intended and expected that UK wide travel will be possible without restriction from 26th April 2021
In early June the household restrictions will be relaxed to 3 households/max 6 people.
Late June the limit will be updated to 4 households/max 8 people over 12rs old; children under 11 yrs old don’t count towards the number limit
Current Covid Restrictions from 26th December 2020
Currently Scotland is in Level 4, this means that no holidays are allowed and all travel must only be for essential purposes. Check regulations here.
We are hopeful that summer holidays will be unaffected and do recommend that you book as soon as possible as availability is already becoming restricted. Do be assured that you may book with confidence and if you are unable to take your holiday due to COVID travel restrictions then we will contact you to discuss your options. The options will be either to transfer to dates late in the year or be provide with a voucher to rebook up until the end of 2022 or, if no dates are suitable for you we will give you a full refund.

What steps are being taken in holiday cottages to reduce risk?
We have advised all of our owners and caretakers to follow the latest guidelines regarding cleaning of their properties, and to pay particular attention to items such as hard surfaces, door handles, light switches, keys and remote controls. The standards to be followed will be in accordance with the guidance that has been issued by Scottish Government.
What happens if I need to cancel my holiday because I catch Coronavirus?
If you contract Coronavirus, we will do everything that we can to rebook the same property for you at any time up until the end of 2022, or you a voucher to rebook or a refund where agreed by the individual owner.
What if I have to cancel my holiday because I have to self-isolate or am advised not to travel by a doctor?
If you’re advised to self-isolate then we will do everything that we can to rebook the same property for you at any time up until the end of 2022, or you a voucher to rebook or a refund where agreed by the individual owner.
What should I do if one of my party feels unwell during my holiday?
If you have symptoms of COVID19 – New Cough or Fever or loss of smell/taste then you should not travel to take your holiday.
If already arrived on holiday then, in accordance with UK Hospitality guidelines if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or are asymptomatic but need to self-isolate, you should check out and return home to self-isolate according to current government guidance.
