Blossom Cottage Reviews
4 star reviewThe cottage was well designed and comfortable. It was in a good location. The heating was not on when we arrived. Some elements of the cleaning were poor such as the oven. The kitchen had some gaps in equipment such as a sieve, a decent size frying pan and a working tin opener. We never found instructions for the heating. Which was unfortunate as we had a power cut which knocked the timing out.Thank you for your review of Blossom Cottage. We will pass your comments on to the owner for consideration. Please do let us know of any issues with your accommodation as soon as possible so that we can try and get things sorted out whilst you're still there. We can't prevent power cuts but we can certainly make enquiries about how to work heaters!
2 star reviewHouse was spacious and beds clean however due to swallows nesting above door a lot of mess of bird droppings and an indoor mat would have prevented mess in the house outside mat was solid with mess . The bathrooms had a fair bit of black mould , the en suite being quite bad and could be cleaned with bleach. I am disabled and found the over bath shower difficult , a non slip bath mat and a grab rail are needed as the bath sides were high. We were looking forward to the outside barbecue! This turned out to be a very small cheap BBQ with a broken support and full of water and ashes Also a bit of cooker cleaning esp the oven would not go amiss. Having said all this the house was lovely in a great situation and easily accommodated our family of seven. Reading the visitors book others have remarked on the cleaning so needs to be addresed
2 star reviewThe house itself was lovely and in a lovely location but it could have been cleaner and a few necessities were missing eg only one tea towel in the kitchen. We noticed other tenants had mentioned this.
The cooker and toaster were very dirty, The bathroom had an unpleasant smell.
