Superb views of Kippford harbour, the Urr estuary and the hills beyond can be seen from all windows at the front of the property and from the lovely rear conservatory. A large secluded rear garden offers tranquillity and is landscaped, enclosed and has a patio area with wooden furniture and BBQ.

Brackenbank is a very comfortable and well equipped, detached holiday home.  There is a ground floor King size en-suite bedroom. Open fire with logs. Books, videos, games and unlimited wifi are provided.

Brackenbank enjoys a great position.  It is situated on a quiet private road which leads directly to a network of scenic pathways over National Trust of Scotland land to Rockcliffe; in the other direction it is only 2 minutes walk from the village centre with its slipway, sailing facilities, coastal walks, shop and two pubs, both of which serve food.

In addition it is only 2 miles from the 7Stanes mountain bike trail in Dalbeattie Forest and only a short drive to numerous sandy beaches, Galloway Forest Park, loch and river fishing, hill walking, golf courses and other attractions in the area.
