Brooklyn Cottage Reviews
4 star reviewGreat cottage, ideal location for us to visit family and friends.
Shame the log burner didn’t seal around the glass door and quickly filled the room with smoke.
Red squirrels and lots of wild birds in the garden, really great. What a fabulous video ! Thank you for sharing that footage and we were so glad to hear that you had a lovely stay.
We made the owners aware of your comment regarding the log burner issue. Please note that had ourselves, or the owner, been made aware of the situation we would have tried our utmost to resolve the problem during your stay. We want all our guests to enjoy their holiday to the full, so please always inform us of any issues and we will deal with them as quickly as possible. The fire was inspected on the 22nd Sept and the problem wasn’t in fact the door, but an issue with the chimney which has been fixed.
We hope to be welcoming you back again very soon.
5 star reviewA traditional property thoughtfully brought up to modern standards. Very well equipped. A real home from home. Wonderful views over the estuary. Only downside is lack of parking and although described as a cottage, the attic conversion is a separate property and has shared access through the garden. The upstairs owner is very nice though.
