Cross Cottage Reviews

5 star review

This was our 4th visit to Cross Cottage - delightful cottage in a wonderful setting and always very well presented.

Small concern re the electrical option for the heated towel rail in the bathroom where for at least two of our visits the notice reads "Beware not working" - really should be fixed in a year! The alternative is switching on the entire central heating for the property in order to have a heated towel rail which we did.

One of the best cottages we have visited. Full of character but also comfortable, well equipped and beautifully warm with plenty of hot water. Lovely views, especially on evenings when they were playing cricket on the pitch behind the cottage. Quiet woodland setting with walks from the door, wild flowers, birds and the occasional red squirrel. What more could you ask for?
