4 star reviewWe booked Firpoint for a break after sadly losing my mum and wanted somewhere homely and quiet. This was the perfect choice, everything ok until the boiler went on the blink so no heating or hot water Sunday. The boiler had been serviced Friday the day we arrived. The owner managed to contact the engineer but he couldn't get to us until Monday. Just our luck that the weather wasn't too clever over the weekend but we lit the fire which helped. The caretaker Shirley was very helpful, a really lovely person. We have stayed in both Rockcliffe and Kippford and love them both. The prices for 2019 have gone up significantly so will be shopping around before we book for next year.
All in all a lovely house, everything you need and great location.
5 star reviewExcellent accommodation inside and out in an amazing location, with many walks on your doorstep. Lovely and clean with everything in the property to make you feel at home. Would hope to book again in the future.
5 star reviewWhat a beautifully refurbished bungalow. Very modern with lovely furnishings. Everything about the bungalow was wonderful. The gardens were lovely with plenty of seating areas and fabulous views. Couldn't fault the place. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
