1 star reviewThe house I booked was freezing cold! The old fashioned electric storage heating system was totally unfit for purpose. The bedrooms in particular were so cold we slept on the 2 couches in the living room. The front bedroom reeked of dampness - see attached photograph of curtains. The house had a visit Scotland Grading visit on 30th January 2018 and was graded with 3* so both the owners and Discover Scotland were very sorry that the house was so disappointing for you. In respect of the heating if you had got in touch it would have been possible to provide extra heaters, the heating has not been a problem in the past. There has been no problem with a smell in the bedroom before now but this will be investigated in light of the comments. All you comments will be kept in mind whn we undertake our own property review in the next month or so.
2 star reviewOur stay in a very well located and comfortable property was somewhat marred by a pervasive smell of damp coming from the bathroom. Otherwise would have given it 4 stars.Thank you for having taken time to leave a review for us, hopefully you had a wonderful holiday on the golf course. The problem with the bath room will be investigated,
