Livingstone House Reviews
4 star reviewLoved it the house the grounds all fantastic..had a fabulous holiday and brilliant weather to top it off.. Only things that was a slight problem was the fridge..to small and broken.. the only other thing is to be aware of strange cars coming round the secluded property!(which u wouldn't expect sat in the garden and next thing a car comes flying round had to shout the kids and dog out the way because thay went for slowing down!!) Gates needed at the rear of the property entrance to stop this happening it spoils it and we was on edge alot of the time we spent in the garden after that..this happens twice..
2 star reviewThe location is fantastic and the house could be spectacular but needs to be updated. The lack of Broadband and poor phone signal was a pain. The furniture and bedding had seen better days and not all the storage could be used as it was musty and damp. The power systems could do with looking at as we did lose some lights and extraction in the bedroom and bathroom. Having said all that Brian the caretaker was responsive and the issues did not really bother us, we had a great time and enjoyed the house and grounds. So pleased to hear that you had a good holiday, it is a classic old house in a super setting, Brian works hard to try and make everyone’s stay just what it should be and he will be pleased to hear that his efforts are appreciated. The problem items will be checked out to see what needs attending to, thank you for drawing attention to them as it helps for any problems to be sorted out quickly.
4 star reviewLovely place, beautiful views and fab house for the kids and grown ups to have plenty of space. The improvements which have been made to the place are great.
If I had one complaint however, the beds are very old and uncomfortable and there were a lot of cobwebs which meant lots of spiders!!So good that you liked the relaxed approach and wonderful views, the beds will be checked out for attention as needed.
