'A very convenient location. We have enjoyed our week here. Perfect weather and a nice surprise with the Jazz Festival' Mr & Mrs Moody, Cheshire. June 16
'We have all loved our week here in Kirkcudbright with so much to do right on the doorstep! The food festival was a great start to the week and the local shops are worth a browse too. Our boys enjoyed a visit to the Cream O' Galloway and the Red Kite feeding station at Ballymack Hill Farm, Laurieston was an amazing experience. Our takeaway from Shaad Kitchen was delicious and we recommend the fresh bread from the bakery just down the road.' The Fletcher Family, Cumbria. Oct 2016

Mackenzie House Reviews
5 star reviewThe Mackenzie House is almost a second home for us, this was our fourth visit. Son loved the new TV! Livingroom could perhaps do with being updated but we like the homely look. The garden was much appreciated in the fabulous weather - but I think you need to get the gardener to visit more often when its hot, I just about kept the plants alive.
