A lovely, clean cottage. However, no WI FI which would have been ok but we had no phone coverage or landline. With a Special Needs child this was a little worrying and something we hadn’t realised. The cottage itself was compact but had a lovely garden area and terrace though we could have done with more comfortable seating!!

this was the 12th time we have gone to the same cottage with elderly parents. The accommodation continues to be superb. The situation is beautiful and this year the weather was exquisite.

We have stayed at Mallaig before but this time I was disappointed because the DVD player was broken, the TV had no signal for any BBC channel eg BBC 1, 2, CBBC, CBeebies etc so entertainment options were severely limited as we knew the house had no wifi. In this day and age we think the owner should review their TV service, replace their DVD player and introduce guest Wifi.
The weather was appalling so entertaining two young chidren was not easy.
Additionally the house is beginning to look very tired - mould around kitchen sink, wallpaper falling off the walls.
Thank you for your feedback which we will pass onto the owners. If we had been contacted during your stay we possibly would have been able to resolve some or all of the issues raised.
We will take your feedback into consideration into account when we carry out our next review of the property .

Great little cottage. Really warm and a nice location in a lovely area. Red squirrels in the garden a bonus.
It is so good to see the squirrels, always so busy it cn make yo tired watching them,  Great to hear that you enjoyed the cottage as well.
