Rocklea Reviews
2 star review
Cottage rather tired and needs updating - we had a good time but bathrooms and some furniture now need replacing. The cost of the let is directly related to the location but people may start to question whether or not Rick Lea still offers value for money? Many thanks for your review of Rocklea. Plans are in place to do some renovations early next year so you should see some changes should you rebook the property again.
4 star review
Love the old fashioned house & location. Showers are definitely needed in bathrooms this day & age! Also more comfortable settee! Thanks for the 4* review, the owners will be pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the house. They are now looking at the possibility of providing a shower but may be not in time for 2018, the sofa will be brought to their attention to be checked.

The location was brilliant but the house was unloved and not value for money. We expect more. I will be writing to Discover Scotland to explain why we think thisThank you for leaving your review, feedback is important so that standards may be maintained. The items raised such as the loose pan handle and the oven door could have been attended to during your stay if you had let us know while in contact with us about the wasps nest. The house is very much loved by the owners and has been in the family for 2 generations, they are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the house. They do have a programme of ongoing upgrades and improvements but also do not want to lose the identity of it being a family home for family holidays to be enjoyed by all.
