A stylish holiday house making a perfect home from home from which to explore the fabulous Scottish Highlands.  Providing comfortable and spacious accommodation for 8 the house, which dates from 1885 and retains its character with many original features, has a superb location overlooking the picturesque village of Taynuilt with views to  Loch Etive. There are lovely mature gardens in which to lose yourself and while a way an afternoon. 

Taynuilt village has an excellent butchers shop, Hotel with superb dining, Robin's Nest tearooms, post office and general stores. There is also a railway station in the village if you want to leave the car at home. 

The local area is excellent for walking with Ben Cruachan close by as is the glorious Loch Etive. The house also makes a wonderful cycling centre (a mountain bike trail guide supplied in the house). The Charming Glen Nant nature reserve is about a mile away. 

Oban , Gateway to the Isles with ferries to the islands, is only a 20 minute drive and should not be missed as it offers superb opportunities to savour the freshest of Scotland's seafood in one of the town's excellent restaurants.  In addition both young and young at heart will love the Oban chocolate shop which can be used as a reward for having strolled up the hill from the town centre to the fabulous landmark of McCaig's Tower, possibly taking in the Distillery on the way as well.
