Current Scottish Protection Levels mean that you may holiday as a single household from 26th April and from 17th May this changes to 2 households/max 4 people over 12yrs old.

In early June this will be relaxed to 3 households/max 6 people.

Late June the limit will be updated to 4 households/max 8 people over 12rs old; children under 11 yrs old don’t count towards the number limit.

Golfers are further spoilt for choice as King James VI 18 hole Golf Course is within 10 minutes walk of the property and Murrayshall Golf Club, a short drive away. Further afield there are numerous other courses including the world famous St Andrews and Gleneagles. Permits are available for salmon and trout fishing (in season – online application) along the town waters of the River Tay. Perth city centre is approximately 5 minutes walk and offers numerous shops, pubs and eateries, the Playhouse cinema, Perth Theatre and Concert Hall, a Museum and an Art Gallery. Perth’s Train and Bus Stations are also a short walk from the property, so day trips are possible to Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond. By car, The Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Loch Tay and even the Cairngorm Mountains are all easy to explore from this central location.

Damage Deposit for care of property

All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver of £18, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by Discover Scotland to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by Discover Scotland within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable. If the cost of any damage or breakages exceeds the applicable Damage Deposit value for the property, then the holiday-maker will be liable for any additional costs. Any such excess will be notified to them by Discover Scotland and due for payment within 14 days of notification.

All bookings require either a refundable Damage Deposit £150 or as per the property details or £18 non refundable Damage Deposit Waiver.
