Oban is also known as the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’ and as you would expect has an abundance of restaurants and cafes within convenient walking distance. From Oban’s bustling harbour, there are daily boat trips to the surrounding islands, where rare birds and wildlife can be spotted. Other interesting places to visit in the vicinity include the castles of Dunollie, Ardmaddy and Dunstaffnage.
