Can Duran is a contemporary house in a small exclusive development in a quiet location only a short walk from the charming village of Killin and the famous Falls of Dochart. Situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park its central location offers easy visits to explore Scotland’s history with Stirling Castle, Scone Place, Edinburgh, Oban and Blair Drummond Wildlife Park all close by. Situated at the head of Loch Tay there are many opportunities for walking, cycling, canoeing, fishing or simply relaxing by visiting the local historic sites and villages. Canoes and bikes are available for hire in the village.

The local area is a haven for wildlife and you may get the chance to spot red squirrels, a great variety of wild birds and red deer. There are walks from the door taking you to the river, lochside or out into the country, for those inclined there is a great choice of Munro peaks to be bagged with many close by. If you would rather just enjoy some rest and relaxation, then open the French doors and sit on the patio to enjoy the views over the stunning Perthshire countryside.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare that special meal, but if you prefer a proper holiday break then it is only a short walk into the popular and bustling town of Killin with its excellent selection of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops. The town is famous for the spectacular Falls of Dochart and there are social events throughout the year including a music festival, Highland games and fireworks display at Hogmanay,
