Situated in a superb position on the edge of Benderloch with views directly down the firth of Lorn to the mountains of Mull.
This detached house provides a superb base for a self-catering holiday from which to explore the west coast of Scotland or just sit at the house and enjoy the changing views on the Firth. It is ideal for multi generation holidays whether looking for a quiet family get together or strenuous outdoor activities.

The house has spacious accommodation including large sitting room with wood burning stove, large dining room with Rayburn and spacious bedrooms. Nearly all rooms have a view of the loch.

The grounds of the house overlook a shingle beach and the shore line and sandy beaches are close by. There is a superb view point behind the house half way up Ben Lora at the 'Eagles Eyrie' with views up and down the loch.

The local area provides plentiful opportunities for exploring including visits to Oban Distillery, Neptune's Staircase at Fort William, local cycle routes, or slightly further afield, skiing at the Nevis Range. Walking, climbing and mountain biking are well catered for with Glencoe and Ben Nevis close by, the Nevis Range Ski Centre also has a challenging mountain bike route for those who like white knuckles!

Sea tours to see seal colonies or Isle hopping tours of Mull, Iona and Staffa are available at Oban. Alternatively sea kayaking can be arranged more locally. There is also the Scottish Sealife Sanctuary just 3 miles north of Benderloch which is well worth a visit.

Damage Deposit for care of property

All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver of £18, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by Discover Scotland to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by Discover Scotland within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable. If the cost of any damage or breakages exceeds the applicable Damage Deposit value for the property, then the holiday-maker will be liable for any additional costs. Any such excess will be notified to them by Discover Scotland and due for payment within 14 days of notification.

All bookings require either a refundable Damage Deposit £150 or as per the property details or £18 non refundable Damage Deposit Waiver.
