Offering spacious and luxury country living this property makes a romantic escape or fabulous family holiday cottage for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Modernised and refurbished to an excellent standard with oak flooring and wood finishes it will leave you not wanting to leave. Set on the edge of Williamwood Farm, there are walks from the doorstep to allow you to enjoy the farm's wildlife conservation areas. The cottage itself has fabulous views over the open farmland of the Annan Valley
The enclosed garden surrounds the cottage and includes an apple tree and a bird table on which you can watch the antics of the many birds that call by. There is also the chance to see an occasional passing otter en route to the river, regular sighting of the local fox and deer can be made from the cosy sitting room with it's patio doors and wood stove.
The farm itself, which features an adventure playground and opportunities to "meet and greet" the resident animals, is a fantastic place for children to experience the Great Outdoors. Local attractions include the sandy beaches of the Solway Firth and woodlands at Mabie Forest Farm all within a 30 minute drive, there's plenty to tire the family out, promising a relaxing evening for adults! The area also offers superb opportunities for outdoor activities both along the Solway coast and also inland where there is a great variety of river walks through to the hilltops giving magnificent panoramas to enjoy. There are numerous golf courses with great variety ranging from sea shore courses at Powfoot and Southerness which contrast with the sheltered Hoddam Castle riverside course. The choice of other outdoor activities is almost endless and includes fishing, horse riding, water sports and mountain biking all of which are within easy reach.
