COVID-19 Update

We are a small, dedicated team who pride ourselves on our commitment to our customers and owners. We have worked hard to achieve Feefo Platinum standard for delivering exceptional customer and we will continue to try and adhere to this even during the current crisis. We are trying to be socially responsible & morally fair in discussions with our holiday-makers and cottage owners alike.

We will be contacting all our holiday-makers who are not able to take up their holiday due to the COVID19 restrictions to issue a voucher which will allow them to re-book an alternative date. This is being undertaken on a week by week basis rolling forward.  If you have a booking and have not been contacted yet then please be patient, please don’t contact us unless it is more than 7 days after your booked arrival date.

With thousands of bookings across 270 properties and their respective owners to liaise with, it’s a huge jigsaw for us to complete, particularly when we can’t be in the office due to the current restrictions. This does mean that we are not able to respond in our usual quick & efficient way.

Please be assured that we will be in touch as soon as possible and we are very grateful for your support and patience at this time

Offering comfortable accommodation and exceptionally well located with easy access to all that Lochaber and the West Highlands of Scotland have to offer including skiing at the Nevis range, gentle and easy walks along the Caledonian Canal (just 5 minutes or so down the hill) which runs up the Great Glen from Fort William to Inverness, exceptional hill walking and mountaineering all close at hand in Glencoe with of course Ben Nevis and other Munroe's within easy reach. Strenuous activities including rope courses and mountain biking are also easily accessible. The beautiful west coast should not be missed with the chance to explore small deserted coves and sandy beaches with one of the best to visit being Arisaig and Morar beaches close to Mallaig, as a special trip you can take the steam train from Fort William to Mallaig but do make sure that you book in advance.

Spean Bridge whilst only a small town originating from being on the crossing point of routes north, south and east, west has three excellent restaurants, a cafe and two hotels together with a small supermarket. More extensive shopping facilities are available at both Fort William and Inverness both of which are worth visiting to see more of Scotland's culture and heritage.

Damage Deposit for care of property

All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver of £18, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by Discover Scotland to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by Discover Scotland within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable.
