This unique cottage is an 'A' listed building and is typical of the old part of the town. Nestling down one of the town's 'closes' the house has been tastefully upgraded and provides spacious accommodation with lots of character. Sleeping just 2, it is the perfect couples getaway.

Kirkcudbright is famed for its unique light which prompted an artists' colony of some renown which has led to Kirkcudbright's designation as the Artists' Town. There are a variety of local independent shops, two supermarkets, several galleries, a selection of hotels, pubs and restaurants in the town. Kirkcudbright also has a working fishing harbour, an 18 hole golf course, indoor heated swimming pool & gym.

Outside the town there are two golf courses together with beaches within easy reach at The Dhoon and Carrick and the lovely market towns of Castle Douglas and Newton Stewart to visit. Enjoy exploring the beautiful Solway Coast and inland the Galloway Forest Park which is renowned for its outdoor activities including mountain biking, sailing, walking and wildlife watching with the well-established Red Kite Trail where you are guaranteed to see one of these fascinating birds.
