Home to Whisky and tartan, Scotland is the UK’s most northerly country, consisting of a mountainous landscape known as the Cairngorms and Northwest Highlands involving numerous glaciers and lochs. There are also the lowlands (borders with England), with Hadrian’s Wall being the Roman, man-made boundary between these two countries. One of the most underestimated past times in this country is walking and there are many different walks to choose from, here are some ideas.
