WE ARE DELIGHTED TO INTRODUCE ARDWALL TO OUR PORTFOLIO FOR 2025/2026!

Set in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway’s stunning countryside, this beautifully designed, newly installed, single-level lodge offers the perfect couples’ escape with south-facing panoramic sea views. Thoughtfully finished with stylish interiors and a private wellness area, it’s an idyllic base from which to explore the area and the surrounding coast and countryside.

Step into a light and welcoming lodge where comfort meets contemporary living. The open-plan accommodation enjoys central heating throughout and features a sumptuous king-size bed with far-reaching views towards the Isles of Fleet, alongside a cosy lounge area complete with plush sofa, beautiful acoustic media wall with 50” 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with Freely and an electric fireplace built-in, paired with stylish lighting for relaxed evenings.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with integrated gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and all the essentials to prepare delicious meals. A breakfast bar provides the perfect spot for a morning coffee or casual dining. You’ll also find USB charging points conveniently placed either side of the bed and will enjoy free access to a 4G Wi-Fi connection.

The sleek shower room is fitted with a luxurious rainfall shower, WC, counter-top oval sink with waterfall tap and vanity drawers, LED mirror with charging socket and heated towel rail. To make your stay even more comfortable, linen, towels, and robes are supplied, along with a welcome touch of complimentary teas, coffee & hot chocolate selection and a range of luxurious/ethical hair and skincare products crafted by a local producer.

Ardwall’s outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to take full advantage of the stunning coastal setting. Just five minutes from Mossyard Bay, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool, crisp waters before returning to Ardwall for a truly unique experience in the private wellness area. Here, you’ll find a wood-fired thermowood barrel sauna with a full panoramic window, perfectly complemented by a cold-water waterfall shower for invigorating hot-cold therapy.

If a sauna isn’t your preference, the space also transforms into a cosy garden room — the perfect spot to relax with a book while soaking in panoramic sea views and the gentle aroma of Nordic thermowood. Surrounding the area, a grassed section blooms with seasonal wildflowers, creating a serene natural setting. The spacious decking area, enclosed with sleek glass balustrades, offers an inviting space for al fresco dining or simply unwinding while taking in the breathtaking coastal scenery.

The lodge is ideally located not far from the charming town of Gatehouse of Fleet, a welcoming community filled with independent shops, cafes, pubs, and a rich history tied to Scotland’s coastal heritage. Explore nearby sandy beaches, forest trails, and scenic walking and cycling routes. Wildlife enthusiasts will love the chance to spot red kites and otters, while those seeking culture can visit local castles, gardens, and historic sites.

Whether you’re after adventure, relaxation, or a little of both, Ardwall Lodge offers the perfect blend of comfort and setting for an unforgettable escape in south-west Scotland.
