Probably the best view over Little Loch Broom, whether it is sun or rain the changing colours of the waters ensure that you will have a memorable holiday at Badlaurach Seaview Cottage. The cottage offers simple croft cottage accommodation with it's tin roof, low doorways and steep stairs there is bags of character, along with the best fire in Badluarach!

The cottage is set on a working croft with peace and privacy ensured as it is set back from a quiet public road and is reached by a short stone track. The local area is often nicknamed the "great wilderness" and is perfect for outdoor activities with An Teallach rising up from the loch shore and other local Munros close by such as Beinn Dearg. The stunning Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature Reserve is not to be missed with the gorge having stunning view points of the thunderous 45m high Falls of Measach, this is one of several water falls as the gorge drops 100m over 1.25k. A Victorian suspension bridge over the gorge leads to walking trails to allow you to extend your exploration of this remarkable area.

Ullapool is a short drive with local facilities as is Dingwall which is a thriving Highland Market Town, well worth a visit to see the community owned and crowd funded distillery GlenWyvis Distillery which offers Gin, Whisky and the opportunity to own shares in the distillery.

A drive in the opposite direction takes you towards Poolewe with a fabulous white sandy beach at Mellon Udrigle which also has excellent photo opportunities of the surrounding spectacular Highland mountains. The near by Pool House is not to be missed with the chance to discover it’s fascinating, quirky and characterful 300 years of rich history including its time as a courthouse in the 1700’s; the setting for a marital battle that scandalised Victorian society; through to becoming a WW2 headquarters.
