WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME CLARINNES COTTAGE TO OUR PORTFOLIO with availability throughout the summer

Clarinnes Cottage is in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and has views from most of it’s rooms to Loch Lomond. The modern accommodation is perfect for families or couples and is in one of the best locations for exploring the great outdoors or visiting Scotland’s Cultural Heritage so will make a wonderful holiday base what ever your interests may be. Not forgetting that you will be able to have a relax and unwind in the hot tub after your day’s adventures.

The accommodation is over two floors with a ground floor King size ensuite bedroom which has French doors to the patio and hot tub, there are doors out from the sitting room as well. The modern kitchen is well equipped but if you are looking for a proper rest from normal life there is plenty of choice for eating out in Rowardennan, Balmaha, Drymen and slightly further afield at Balloch and Duck Bay.

The area has access too many outdoor pursuits to mention them all but some include the strenuous walk to “Munro Bag” Ben Lomond and enjoy the fabulous surrounding views from it’s summit; walking on the West Highland Way or Rob Roy Way; water sports of all sorts on Loch Lomond, be it wild swimming, sailing, kayaking, water skiing or more gentle boat tours to allow you to properly take in the stunning scenery that surrounds the loch, there are organised water sports centres at Rowardennan and Loch Lomond Shores. The list of other activities continues with mountain biking, horse riding and golf, of course with the beautiful Buchan Castle 18 hole parkland course and the 9 hole Strathendrick Golf Course which was created 1901 by Willie Fernie, both courses are at Drymen.

If you would rather bag a castle than a mountain then you are spoilt for choice with many within easy reach including Dumbarton Castle, Inerarry Castle, Stirling Castle and not to be missed a trip day trip to see the stunning Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace together with a tour of the Scottish Parliament or a scramble up Arthurs Seat to enjoy the views over the city to the Firth of Forth.

Damage Deposit for care of property

All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by Discover Scotland to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by Discover Scotland within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable. If the cost of any damage or breakages exceeds the applicable Damage Deposit value for the property, then the holiday-maker will be liable for any additional costs. Any such excess will be notified to them by Discover Scotland and due for payment within 14 days of notification.

All bookings require either a refundable Damage Deposit £150 or as per the property details or £20 non refundable Damage Deposit Waiver.
