Perched in a prime position to soak up uninterrupted panoramic views, High Tide is as beautiful inside as the scenery outside. Step through centrally located patio doors into a bright, contemporary open-plan space where the living room, kitchen, and dining area come together in perfect harmony. On either side, you’ll find two spacious King-size en-suite bedrooms, thoughtfully designed to mirror the modern elegance of the communal areas.

The minimalist kitchen offers everything you need for effortless dining, complemented by a vibrant dining area with colourful touches in the crockery and soft furnishings. For added flexibility, High Tide features Zip-and-Link beds in one of the bedrooms, allowing you to choose between two King-size bedrooms or one King and one Twin - ideal for families or friends travelling together. And wherever you lay your head, you'll wake up to the same breathtaking view that fills the living area.

As part of your stay, enjoy complimentary access to the on-site communal wood-fired sauna and invigorating cold plunge pool. Whether you’re relaxing after a day of adventure or winding down beneath the stars, this unique spa experience offers the perfect way to connect with the stunning natural surroundings - including spectacular sunsets and some of the clearest night skies in Europe.

The surrounding area offers something for everyone. Nature lovers and thrill-seekers will be drawn to Galloway Forest Park, one of the UK’s largest forest parks. Explore its extensive network of walking trails, enjoy water sports, horse riding, fishing, or even clay pigeon shooting. It’s also one of Europe’s best Dark Sky Parks - ideal for stargazing and spotting constellations on clear nights.

Travelling with children? Local attractions abound. Create sweet memories at the Cocoabean Chocolate Factory in Twynholm, with chocolate-making workshops and energetic indoor and outdoor play zones. At Ernespie Farm Park in Castle Douglas, little ones can hop on a real combine harvester or whoosh down the giant ‘Cresta slide’. And of course, the nearby sandy beaches offer classic seaside fun - perfect for rock pooling, paddling, and sandcastle building.

For those drawn to history and heritage, visit ancient sites like Cairn Holy’s Neolithic chambered cairns, the evocative ruins of Cardoness and MacLellan Castles, or explore the colourful, creative town of Kirkcudbright - known as the Artist’s Town for its vibrant arts scene.

Food lovers will feel right at home here too. Sample local delights at Galloway Lodge in Gatehouse of Fleet or enjoy fine dining at The Selkirk Arms in Kirkcudbright. Discover the region’s artisanal side with a visit to Sulwath Brewery, or book a tasting at the Crafty Gin Distillery and Bladnoch Whisky Distillery for a true flavour of Galloway’s craftsmanship.

Whether you’re after relaxation, adventure, culture or cuisine - High Tide places it all at your doorstep.
