The Nairn House, graded 4* by Visit Scotland is a lovely Georgian house renovated to an excellent standard to provide spacious holiday accommodation for 6 close to both of Nairn's beaches and town centre. You can enjoy a stroll along the sea front enjoying a refreshment at one of the many cafes, which include one overlooking the busy harbour. The Moray Firth makes a superb holiday base be it for enjoying all Scotland's culture with Castles, Historic Houses and sites all nearby, don't miss Culloden Battlefield only 10 miles or so together with the Highland Capital, Inverness. For those looking to enjoy outdoor pursuits, Skiing, Snowboarding, Pony Trekking, Mountain Biking, White Water Rafting & other water sports are available at Aviemore and The Lecht offers snow sports and Mountain Biking opportunities, both are within a 45 minute drive.

The area is famous for wildlife with dolphins easy to spot in the Firth, take a picnic to North Kessock, enjoy the sunset on one of the benches and watch the jumps going on with the flood tide. Sea safaris are available if you want to get up close as are Land Rover Safaris in the Cairngorms Mountains and locally as well some with Alpacas.

Water sports are available along all of the Firth and well worth exploring is the popular sailing village at Findhorn with fabulous food in the local pubs and inns. There is nothing better than to have a gentle day exploring the delightful fishing villages along the Moray Coast onto towns at Elgin and Cullen with a return via a distillery or two!

CCTV:-The Nairn house has 2 security cameras 1 at the front of the house situated under the right hand bedroom window as you look up from the front door. It monitors the path and driveway. The second is situated at the back door and is situated to the left of the utility window as you look at the house, it monitors the back garden and path. Data is cleared after each guest leaves.

Damage Deposit for care of property

All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by Discover Scotland to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by Discover Scotland within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable. If the cost of any damage or breakages exceeds the applicable Damage Deposit value for the property, then the holiday-maker will be liable for any additional costs. Any such excess will be notified to them by Discover Scotland and due for payment within 14 days of notification.

All bookings require either a refundable Damage Deposit £150 or as per the property details or £20 non refundable Damage Deposit Waiver.
