Surrounded by peaceful countryside and enjoying views across open farmland, this rural retreat offers a relaxing escape while remaining conveniently located less than three miles from Oban. Guests can enjoy walks directly from the doorstep, while younger visitors will appreciate the small on-site play area. Also within the grounds is The Barn, a charming rustic pub full of character, serving drinks and locally inspired dishes during seasonal opening hours. After a day spent exploring the surrounding area, it provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind. On clear evenings, the rural setting also creates ideal conditions for spectacular night skies and stargazing.

Known as the Seafood Capital of Scotland, Oban is celebrated for its exceptional seafood restaurants, harbourfront dining and fresh local produce. Visitors can sample freshly landed shellfish and seafood at The Green Shack on the quayside, or pick up ingredients from one of the town’s excellent fishmongers to enjoy at home. The town is also famously recognised as the Gateway to the Isles, with ferry services from South Pier connecting travellers to Mull, Tiree, Colonsay, Barra and Lismore. From North Pier, a short water taxi crossing also provides easy access to the nearby island of Kerrera.

Beyond the harbour, Oban offers a wide variety of attractions and amenities including historic cathedrals, independent boutiques, cafés, pubs and family-friendly restaurants. Popular highlights include Oban Distillery and the much-loved Oban Chocolate Company. There are also supermarkets, leisure facilities, a cinema, swimming pool and golf course, along with numerous opportunities for walking, cycling and water sports. History lovers can explore nearby landmarks such as Dunstaffnage Castle, Dunollie Castle and Inveraray Jail, while garden enthusiasts can visit the beautiful grounds of Inveraray Castle and Arduaine Garden. From coastal adventures to relaxing days out, the area provides an excellent base for visitors of all ages.
