Its rich heritage blends seamlessly with modern comforts, offering a welcoming and peaceful escape for families looking to explore the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

Smiddy Cottage retains its traditional charm with 2ft thick stone walls and exposed wooden beams, tastefully decorated throughout. The open-plan living area features a modern kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a breakfast bar. The lounge offers comfortable seating around a wood-burning stove, with a large picture window overlooking a Lochan, ideal for birdwatching. The cottage includes a spacious king-sized master bedroom with overhead velux windows, a twin room, and a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower.
Outside, the private enclosed garden features a hot tub overlooking the Lochan and offers breathtaking views across Glenshee.

This traditional cottage offers an extraordinary Highland getaway, perfectly situated near Pitlochry, Braemar, Perth, Dundee, and St Andrews. It is also within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Inverness, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and moorland, the landscape evolves beautifully with the changing seasons, from the vibrant heather of summer to the snow-capped peaks of winter.

The area is renowned for its wealth of outdoor activities, making it a haven for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife watching in the surrounding hills and forests, or take a peaceful stroll through the nearby woods. For water enthusiasts, the River Tay offers kayaking and fishing opportunities, while the glistening lochs provide a serene backdrop for those seeking tranquillity.

Immerse yourself in Scotland’s rich history with nearby castles such as Balmoral, Braemar, Glamis, Scone Palace, and Blair Castle, or take a scenic drive along the A93, also known as "Scotland’s Snow Road," renowned for its stunning views and unique art installations.

In winter, the area transforms into a skiing and snowboarding destination, with nearby resorts like Glenshee Ski Centre offering skiing and snowboarding.
